ContentScout is a content intelligence and social listening platform for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. It tracks public accounts, posts and keywords, reads videos (transcripts, covers, on-screen text, comments) and turns that into ideas, scripts and strategies through Scouty, its built-in AI chat. It is available inside Claude and ChatGPT through an MCP.

## Definitions

- **Workspace**: a separate space per brand or client. One subscription covers several clients up to the plan's workspace limit. You do not need one plan per client.
- **Seat / user**: a person on the team who can log in. Basic is single-user.
- **Tracked account**: any public TikTok, Instagram or YouTube profile ContentScout reads every 24 hours. Tracked accounts can be swapped anytime.
- **Credit**: pays for on-demand analyses (a post breakdown, a transcript, a deeper look at an account). Daily tracking of accounts, posts and keywords does **not** spend credits.

## Billing rules

- **Upgrade** mid-cycle: pay only the difference.
- **Downgrade**: applies at the next renewal.
- **Cancel**: monthly and annual plans cancel from account settings, no call needed.

## What ContentScout does not do

- It does not schedule or publish posts.
- It does not generate images or videos.
- It reads public data only: no DMs, private accounts, Stories, follower lists or inboxes.
- Through the MCP, Claude or ChatGPT can pass ContentScout's findings to a scheduler or generation tool the user already has.

## How to choose a plan

- One brand, one person: **Basic**.
- Up to 3 brands or clients, or a team of 2: **Pro**.
- Up to 5 brands or clients, a team of 3, or priority support: **Ultra**.
- More brands, more seats or heavier listening and monitoring needs: **Enterprise**, by contact.
